Sunday sorted

Sunday…and the last day of the last weekend without Nick. I didn’t want to spend the day alone, so invited Pam, Geoff and Maddy around to lunch. We had chicken stew, rice and garlic bread for lunch, and Maddy had made a chocolate trifle for pud. After lunch Geoff busied himself on his laptop, Maddy brought out a book (what easy guests) and Pam and I went walking with our cameras. We got caught in the rain though – we had set out in moderate weather but the rain came quite suddenly (not unusual). The cameras were fine though! We have been trying over the last few days to get Aaron’s loose tooth out. It is so loose now that it’s hanging by a thread – it’s not lodged in the gum at all and is quite free moving in any direction. It’s really off-putting watching him eat, and quite frankly I’m worried that it’s going to fall out while he’s sleeping and he’s going to choke on it (paranoid mother’s imagination running wild). Caleb came up with a great idea to tie floss around the tooth and the other end to a paper airplane, then launch the plane…we did, but it had no effect other than to rouse a lot of laughter from the three of us.

For future reference - don't worry about him chocking on it if it does come out at night. I fell asleep during reading time at school one day and woke to find my loose tooth was gone. It does not say much for the story though... hehehe

Lovely family portrait of Geoff, Pam and Maddy!

Great composition in the donkey shot - love how he is just out of the photo at one side with the balance of the out of focus building to the right.
