Down the aisle

This morning Nick was out early for his services; the boys and I did the usual Sunday morning stuff. We had planned to go to Tammy in the afternoon but she phoned to cancel, having accidentally double-booked. So after a lunch of smoked chicken, chips and beans, and a short time of just chilling at home, we drove to St Matthews Church which is only about five minutes away, where Paul and Claris will be getting married. This was for the purpose of doing a practice shoot to gauge the light and the sort of flash set-ups we’ll need. Then it was back home for a while before going out to church. Nick’s message was very simple, on the prodigal son, but he made some good points and applications.
More from Ascension - part 2 of Nick's photos: Command Hill, situated just behind Georgetown and Long Beach, is a fortification of sorts, no longer in use.
