End of Term 3

Last day of the term today, and it was a dress-up day in the theme of World Cup Rugby.  It was great to see the kids dressed up in support of their countries - largely represented by South Africa, New Zealand and Scotland with a bit of France thrown in.  I went with a dual nationality, sporting green and gold AND black and white!  Despite the hilarity we managed to get some work done...it was one of those days where you know things are just going to be a little haywire :)  All good fun. It's been an interesting term and my first one at the school in the office - I have learned a lot, laughed a lot, cried just a little, and look forward to the next one!

The staff was treated to a morning tea, and then there was a parents' community tea in the afternoon, again with an international theme.  The koeksusters disappeared very quickly!  Being the last day of term, we treated the boys to MacDonalds for tea and a DVD.  Let the holidays begin!
