100 years of Girl Guides

I was in the Market again this morning, anticipating a lot of people in town both because it was Ship Day and there was a Girl Guides’ Centenary Parade. While I was selling, Nick and the boys went to Good News Club at which there was no lesson as there was no key, so the kids had an hour of free play again. Aaron tripped on the tarmac playground and scraped a significant section of skin off his waist and apparently screamed quite loudly. Shortly after 12 the parade began although it was some time until they had made their way down from the hospital to where we were. It wasn’t a big parade but it was well supported.
