Tea by two

After doing the grocery shopping together in the afternoon, Nick and I did a cook-up, aka English Breakfast, for tea. It's one of the few (um, only) meals that we cook together, working side by side in the kitchen. Yummy - bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages, tomato, beans, fish nibbles and potato puff thingies.

After that, just in case we weren't quite full enough, we went out for ice-creams and a wander around the carnival, catching a few minutes of that evening's concert.

Dad wanted to watch the bumper cars in progress - sometimes it's more fun watching the watchers than the drivers!
