Mid-Life Crisis

Had a most enjoyable violin lesson this evening (I go fortnighly).  It's getting to be more fun as I can play a duet with Jemima and not muck it up too badly, so we both end up smiling at the end!  Am learning third position now which is slow-going and frustrating, but good - I want to keep learning and progressing (not that I am anywhere near accomplished in the beginner stages - still a loooooong way to go!).  At 9 pm I had the pleasure of photographing MLC during rehearsal for a newspaper promo - they are doing a fundraising concert this Friday coming for Amenio Nareki who was so badly burned in that terrible house-fire on the day of his son's wedding.
