Joy-nt anniversary

A little blue car pulled up outside our house around 5 pm - Joy and Ken!!  Yippee!  Joy is one of my REAL cousins and the only NZ one, living in Auckland (the same one who whisked me off for a ladies weekend in May).  We share a wedding anniversary which was happening on this weekend, so to celebrate they decided to come and visit us in Timaru.  The coinciding of Nick's lectures and their visit was unfortunate but not disastrous in any way; we were glad that we could all spend the whole of Friday evening together.  We had a Chinese tea then went for our oft-enjoyed walk to Dashing Rocks, taking advantage of the warm evening.  Nick and Ken found all sorts of topics to discuss while Joy and I did some deep catching up and chatting; Caleb and Aaron loved the male company.
