The boys were given their very own kites …Clare asked her parents to send them over for Caleb and Aaron as Tom and Milly have their own and they worked really well for them. They are very cute and highly effective (as well as very tiny, folding up into a three-by-three inch bag). So those were played with during the afternoon…Josh and Charlotte also had turns. The boys were outside pretty much the whole day…we had quite a lot of sun today and no rain, which was wonderful. 
Took a walk to the Longwood store to buy eggs for tonight’s anticipated meatballs but they were out. Nick had come with me, so we walked across to the other little shop called Maisie’s…
