Sunday saw us at Honeyridge again morning and evening, blessed by Martin Holdt's preaching. My mom prepared a hearty cold-meat-and-salads lunch which we took to Al and Kate's place so the boys could enjoy the swimming pool (Nick walked from our place to theirs taking an hour and a quarter, listening to sermons on the way). In the late afternoon Ray and La and the boys joined us there, so it was a right family afternoon again, rounded off by the Family Matriarch's presence (that would be Aunty Doreen, my dad's older sister). Had friends around for butternut soup and rolls after church, perfectly finishing off a day of worship, family and fellowship.
