Sunday School Prizegiving
Things are coming to an end as the year draws to a close...this morning was the last Sunday School session; we joined together and watched a Veggietales DVD on Samson. I've come down with a cold so was glad not to have to talk very much. During the morning church service we had a prizegiving, handing out certificates and prizes of books, calendars and posters to the children who have attended. Came home to a ready-cooked meal of apricot chicken pieces and potato wedges, thanks to the self-timer on the oven! I quickly cooked some cauliflower and courgettes and voila - hardly felt like cooking at all. I slept most of the afternoon and skipped the evening service which Nick said he really enjoyed preaching, on Psalm 19:1-6. The boys spent a lot of time on the trampoline today as they have done pretty much every day - I'm surprised the novelty hasn't worn off but they keep inventing new games to play on it.
