TCS prizegiving

Last official day of school today - and just like that, the boy's first term at school, and my Teaching Aid contract, is done. It's been a good term, very enjoyable for all of us, and we look forward to our ongoing relationship with Timaru Christian School next year! The prizegiving was in the evening; after a full program of singing, poetry, video presentations and reports the awards were handed out, followed by a light supper. Each class had their turn on stage and it was interesting to see how Caleb and Aaron performed. Aaron still has stage fright and so seemed to be sharing his poem with the girl next to him; Caleb is confident and has no trouble remembering his stuff up there. Congratulations to "our own" very talented Dannica Phillips on sharing the top student award with Jacob Waldron. Dannica also took several other awards for sports and archery and character and so on...lots of shiny trophies!
