Take two boys, add two friends and two cousins

Our first weekend at home together as a family in a couple of weeks - and a chance to chill out after my first week at school. Was a relief to sleep in and have a slow morning. I made a batch of coconut ice as a trial run before next Saturday's big fundraising South African Fair at TCS - I have been assigned the task of preparing 30 little bags of it to sell. Nick mowed the lawns in the afternoon, then we all went together to the Camerons to return the mower, and ended up staying all afternoon and on for tea! Rachel was looking after Pete and Harry for the afternoon - we are sad to be losing the Lucas family to Hokitika where Carl is shortly to be starting a new job. Miriam had been looking at houses with Carl over the weekend and then returned to Timaru on her own, leaving Carl there to start his first work week of training. Caleb and Aaron were thrilled to spend the afternoon with their buddies; Pete and Harry blended in with the boy mix quite well.
