A quick Sunday summary

Nick preached his Acts sermon on Paul's conversion (part one) to a very full church this morning. Following the message and Lord's Supper we had our monthly lunch together at the church, and it was a happy gathering indeed. I had the camera at the ready but was way too busy chatting to actually use it at all! Unfortunately the evening service was but a shadow of former things, with just a scattering of congregants. Grant and Petru called on after the service with pampoen poffertjies (pumpkin fritters)...they were delicious but unfortunately Nick regards anything with pumpkin as poison :) Good to catch up with the pair of them - although I see Petru at school every day we sometimes can offer no more than a whispered hello to each other before the day's activities begin.
