Had an exceptionally busy, but pleasant, day: An early start to school, a routine medical appointment, hot chocolate at the Consulate with Elza and Maureen (and I treated myself to a miniature lemon meringue pie – delicious, but definitely not as good as my mom’s), packing (just one box today), a visit from Amy (fairly new to the island), jewellery making, and housework. The boys produced some fabulous pieces of written work according to their set assignment while I was out, which they were eager to show me when I got home from town.
