Today we had a combined service in the afternoon. It’s wonderful for Nick and me and the boys when he doesn’t have to rush off to church early and be gone all morning. This morning we went around to borrow a wide-angle lens (Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6) from one of our photographer friends. He wanted to test out my new 50mm so it’s a temporary trade. Had loads of fun playing with it already! When we got home I noticed that a lot of clutter had gathered in the house, so we did a quick clean-up before the boys watched a DVD. The service at Sandy Bay in the afternoon was lovely. Nick’s sermon was hard-hitting; Part II of the Seven Deadly Sins (dealing with gluttony, envy, greed and sloth today). The Lord’s Supper following was a wonderful reminder of God’s grace in the face of our sinfulness.

I have dubbed that first photo "Groovy Pasta" for obvious reasons. (perhaps he'll get that tattoo he talked about while he is on Ascension?)
