I took the boys to town after lunch as Aaron desperately wanted to buy himself a watch, and I do understand that feeling of “I really want this NOW if at all possible, please?”. 
Caleb came along too and found a really good lego-equivalent pirate ship which he bought with his birthday money. He was very excited about it and couldn’t wait to get home to build it. He spent the rest of the afternoon building it, but it still isn’t finished – despite (or perhaps because of) help from Tom and Sappho.
