Caleb took a break from his cursive to do a small bit of printing instead…he begged me for a break, so I had mercy! That made the morning run a lot quicker, I must confess, so that we had time to do science before tenzees, and then finished school at about 11.50. The boys played inside for most of the afternoon even though it was sunny out. They played Lego…they still love their big duplo stuff which is really intended for much smaller kids, but I guess they enjoy that they can quickly throw together huge ships or spacecraft.

Brace yourself, you might... just might, have 2 engineers on your hands. With careful removal of all things constructive they can still be saved from 'a life of utter social ineptitude'. So act fast or there'll be no normal turning back. If you got the bandwidth, it's well worth checking out the Dilbert YouTube Clip.
Keep a close eye on them, engineers characteristically grow in and out of buildy things, irrelevant of how big or small. I have on my desk (at work), a magnetic building set, which is constantly morphing as engineers both young and old walk in and subconsciously change it. Gotta smile each time it happens and as soon as they realize what they did, they also burst out laughing. We just can't help it...
