Spent an interesting day more or less catching up on stuff and preparing for the week coming, in which all six of us will be doing a South Island excursion for five days. Nick and I went off to buy the boys' back-to-school stationary at the Warehouse (where everyone gets...), where we found bargains by way of clearance shoes already marked down with a further 50% reduction. Yeah! Practiced violin in the afternoon and got some of the preceding week's blog done. At 5 pm we piled in the car and headed for the Camerons for tea of homegrown pork and potatoes with veggies and salad. I think it was a bit of a shock for my parents to be exposed to such a rowdy table with at least three conversations happening at once - we were in our element of course and I suppose helped a little to contribute to the loudness ;)
After tea we were treated to a tour around the farm - the light was fabulous and Rachel would have joined me for a camera walk but her battery died after about four photos! Cute couple blow - actually Dad was helping Mom through the grass and uneven ground.

Caleb and Aaron bumped heads jumping onto hay in the barn - Aaron cried but Caleb was the one with the shiner :)
Thanks Camerons for a fabulous and memorable event in the parents' calendar!

I clicked to enlarge, as requested. But Lynn I am worried about you. You clearly are not eating well enough because you are shrinking. Has anyone else noticed? Have you seen the doctor?
(Hahahahahaha...you are too funny!)
