The feeding of the 28

Thought it would be fun to introduce the Garnetts to some of our Timaru friends, so did one of those "bring what you've got and we'll share it" Sunday tricks. We had the Kempfs (Rene, Bronwyn, Sam and Hannah...Jesse is in Singapore) and Andreas and Danielle over for lunch, in which we had roast goat - shot by Rene! - with roast potatoes from Bronwyn's oven and a quickly put-together pasta and mince and salads. That took us up to the afternoon service, after which the Phillipses and Graham and Liz came around for a tomato soup and bread arrangement for tea. It was a great day with a lot of laughter and complete silliness, a little bit of seriousness, lots of eating and excellent company.
