It was a quiet start to the day with the boys not bouncing around the house at 6 am…I think my parents missed the ‘war zone’ which usually happens in their bed when Caleb and Aaron rough house with their grandpa (my mom turns her back so only her kidneys are exposed). We took my folks to Clearwater Mall, specifically looking for certain toys in their toyshop. Found what we were after, then went to Wimpy (what’s any mall outing without Wimpy coffee – the only reason my mom joined us!). In the late afternoon we were joined by Glen and Antje at my parents house, then all drove together to Pretoria to be with the CPBC young adults for a braai. Although we had not been planning on going because of the distance and petrol and all, we were so pleased not to have missed the event. It was awesome being amongst this group of young people who are so in love with the Lord! Took a group photo which turned into an occasion for hilarity afterwards when viewing the photos, as Glen took it and asked us to pull funny faces – only his submissive wife did! Blind one – thanks for the laugh, Antje.
(Loved this pic of Nick at the mall - you can almost feel him sighing and trying to wear patience like a cloak)
