The boys couldn’t wait to get started with their Junior Tradesmen stuff, so after school while I went to buy bread, Nick and the boys laid out a little house and garage in clay bricks. We thought we’d refrain from actually cementing it together at this point…we’ll wait for a rainy day (which today wasn’t). They hadn’t even packed that stuff away before wanting to start the worm farm. They found soil and we put it together in neat layers, but then they couldn’t find earthworms. I guess now it’s just a sand farm. Took ourselves off to town in the afternoon on an errand and also had a quick swim…we managed to find enough towels and swimming apparel at the manse.
